Head Wound
I was the victim of another volunteers over-enthusiastic dancing and suffered a slight concussion (and bruised nose) on Friday night. I've been prescribed rest, which I've faithfully performed today at KSO (with the aid of Grant and some American snacks). All involved parties have been fully forgiven, and I'm headed back into the fray tomorrow morning.

Miss you. :(
A friend has just bought a house and is looking for renters. ($400 per room, but it includes Utilities and food!) I told her and her roomie that if they hadn't found anyone by October/November I would talk to them about renting! Does your boy deal well with teh gay? One of the housemates would be a gay guy, and I don't know your boy well enough to judge. :)

As for Grant & Gay relations: 1) He was in choir. Wouldn't have lasted long if he had a problem 2) Wouldn't have lasted long with me either if he had a problem. Homophobia is totally a deal breaker for me! (actually I'm a bit surprised you'd think I'd date somebody who had issues with it!)

I didn't expect you would date someone who was homophobic BUT I also had no reason to believe it had come up in conversation. I'm betting gay pride parades are not common in your area! :P

Your last six months sure have been surreal.

Bruised nose?
So, where are the pictures? Thanks for taking care of Mom while she was visiting you. She said that you and Grant had everything planned out really well. She had a great time.
Next time she visits, though, we're sending out a bunch of boxes of food to be cached at various locations (you know, like they do when they climb Mt Everest). So whenever you arrive somewhere she'll have _some_ kind of idea of exactly what it is she's eating and that, in fact, she wants to eat it.

Re: Bruised nose?
There will be no pictures. There might, however, be a scar (crosses fingers for a clean healing!)Yeah now you know why I always ask for food in my care packages ;) But now I"m used to Ghanian food, I really like it!
Mom shouldn't complain - I spared her 'face the wall' (looks like poo!) and grasscutter (giant rat) meat!
